The Wind

Wind is the natural movement of air or other gasses relative to a planets surface. Wind is caused by air flowing from high pressure to low pressure. Wind can cause a lot of destruction if it’s too strong, like blowing over trees and houses. Although wind can cause destruction, without it you can’t fly kites or sail boats. Wind also helps hot air balloons move to different places. Air planes use the jet stream which is a very strong stream of wind, to help them travel faster. The strongest wind ever was recorded on Neptune. Wind also helps rovers on mars by blowing of the sand that collects on the solar panels so they can collect energy from the sun to keep moving. Wind can be a lot of fun and it also can help a lot of stuff.
