Influenza virus

Influenza is a contagious respiratory illness caused by Influenza viruses that infect the nose, throat, and lungs. Older people with health conditions are more vulnerable to higher risk of flu complications. There are two main types of Influenza virus, type A and type B. Though the annual influenza vaccine isn’t 100% effective, supposedly it’s still your best defense against the flu. ( I don’t believe vaccines are your best defense against the flu.) At first, the virus feels like a normal cold, but it forms very slowly. Some symptoms of the virus are dry cough, headache and shortness of breath. These are just a few symptoms of the virus.
